I had lots of fun making this card! It was quick and easy. My inspiration came from my friend Kristie, who is so much fun and adorable! I’ve added the instructions below and there is a link to Karen Burniston’s video for instructions on how to use the die.
For the Card Base, cut a piece of light blue cardstock 11cm x 28cm; score at 14cm and fold in half creasing with a bone folder for a crisp crease. Ink the edges (I used versa color 68 Atlantic)
For the Inside Layer, cut a piece of dark blue cardstock 10cm x 27cm; score at 13.5cm and fold in half creasing with a bone folder for crisp crease. This is the piece that you will use for the inside of the card on which the twist circle mechanism will be cut.
For the inside Patterned Layer, cut two pieces of paper with Stars 7.5cm x 10cm. Ink using Atlantic.
For the Front of the Card, cut a piece of Hearts & Stars paper 4cm x 10cm. Ink using Atlantic.
Using the largest circle die from Snowman Twist Circle pop-up set, cut 2 circle’s in White and 1 circle using the Stars paper (glue the stars circle and one white circle together for extra depth and ink the edges, using Atlantic.) On the other circle emboss a boarder using the same circle used for the moon and stamp the sentiment. (I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink -Worn Lipstick-)
Using the next largest circle with stitching from the set, cut 1 white circle, then using the same die cut a piece out of the circle to make a moon shape. Ink the edges and parts of the shape (I used a versa color 182 Bisque)
Using the heart die in the set cut 3 hearts and ink using Worn Lipstick.
Using the dies from the set cut a Dark Blue arm and cut the mechanism into the Dark Blue inside layer. Watch this video from Karen Burniston to see how to cut and for assembly instructions. https://youtu.be/1apukZR3PDI
On the front of the card adhere the Hearts & Stars and add the circle with the Stars leave remainder until the inside has been assembled.
On the inside, assemble as per video Do Not Add Circle at this point. Adhere the two Star patterned pieces then add the circle (as per video instructions) add hearts and star embellishments.
On the front of the card first attach the heart to the moon using silver cord which has been threated through holes and knotted at the front. Use glue to hold the knots in place. Add adhesive pop dots to the back of the moon and heart and carefully place onto the star circle. Finally add some star embellishments.
